Eligibility
As per the NEET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin published by the National Testing Agency:• Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of admission; there is no upper age limit.
• 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
Minimum marks and other conditions are prescribed by the regulators each year — check the current NTA information bulletin.
Eligibility can also depend on the college, admission route and quota. Confirm current rules with the conducting authority.
Exam pattern
• 180 compulsory questions in 180 minutes (3 hours); single shift; pen-and-paper mode.• Physics: 45 questions (180 marks); Chemistry: 45 questions (180 marks); Biology (Botany and Zoology): 90 questions (360 marks). Total: 720 marks.
• Marking: +4 for a correct answer, −1 for an incorrect answer, 0 for an unanswered question.
• Available in 13 languages.
